particularly in central Frankfurt, the city now has an above-average project
development rate compared to the rest of the country.
However, overcapacities
are not anticipated in the short term. Increasing numbers of completions can be
expected in 2018/19 at the earliest. On the whole, Frankfurt’s stock of office
space is expected to grow significantly by more than 1% per year, of which
approximately 100,000 m2 will be built on a speculative basis.
However, in light
of potential job relocations, the availability of high-quality office space could be
another geographical advantage for Frankfurt.
