OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises

Basic information is available on the ministry’s website which is regularly
updated. Flyers in several languages including English can be obtained as electronic version or
from German embassies. In addition, the Government promotes the OECD guidelines to foreign
investors on the main website for foreign trade and investment iXPOS and the investment
promotion agency abets investors to adhere to the guidelines.

Companies applying for
investment guarantees are explicitly encouraged to respect the OECD guidelines. The contact
point gives talks about the guidelines at the invitation of business associations and is working on
a handbook targeting especially SMEs.
