Safety and the environment
Apart from the registry court, each town or other local authority maintains a
Trading Office. Each place of business must be registered with the local Trading
Office, which exercises a degree of supervision over matters such as public
access and safety, adherence to any applicable regulations regarding the use to
which certain premises may be put, and any compulsory opening and closing
times. Since the objectives of the Trading Offices are supervision of local
businesses on behalf of the local authority, their records are not open to the
general public.
